Try Mobile Marketing With Us for Free

2008 is set to be the year of mobile travel marketing. Lots of industry experts are predicting it, and the market is more ready now than ever before – barring a major catastrophe the time is now. We’re excited to dip our toes into the seas of new technology and so are offering readers the chance to sample the delights of mobile pay per click advertising without our usual management fee - until July…

We’ve been indicating that mobile marketing is going to become huge for some time now, but it seems that popular opinion is now with us, with quite a few respected industry blogs listing it in their predicted trends for 2008. The tipping point in the travel industry seems to be the sudden interest from Hotels4u.com who are working on a mobile phone hotel booking platform . This is against a flourishing backdrop of the iPhone being the must have gadget (and having built in web browsing), Google developing an operating system for mobiles and with worldwide mobile penetration set to exceed 50% for the first time. Essentially, the majority of people in the UK now have a mobile device, the technology is up to standard and marketers are beginning to take advantage: the landscape has never been more ready.

The advice we provided last year still holds true, but we are so excited to get the ball rolling early in the year, that we are offering anyone who wants to try mobile pay per click marketing the opportunity to have an account with us for free. Until July, we are offering to set up and manage customers’ mobile PPC accounts without the associated management fee. Obviously, you will still pay for the clicks (or calls in the case of mobile marketing).

We, like most marketers, only have limited experience with this exciting new extension of pay per click, but come with an extensive background in what makes PPC campaigns successful in the traditional online sense. And if you’re worried that your website isn’t optimised for mobile traffic (a costly process we wouldn’t recommend to everyone at stage one), the beauty of mobile PPC is that it can be arranged to dial straight into your call centres, letting your sales staff take over.
