As Jason Capshaw rightly points out in his guest post on the Daily SEO tip blog, anyone that has been playing the Online Marketing solutions game in the past few years, will at some point have been frustrated by Wikipedia dominating the rankings that you are trying to secure for your clients.
If we take the phrase ‘SEO’ as an example, we can see that whether you are the smartest SEO company in London, or the most talented optimiser in the country, you will be hard-pressed to achieve the number one spot as Wikipedia is already sitting comfortably.
Jason’s explanation of Wikipedia’s methodology makes for an interesting read, and suggests that Wikipedia’s internal linking program is something we should all strive to emulate in our online marketing solutions.
