At each Internet Marketing training session we run, we get asked the same question – why do you employ copywriters? Well, we’re going to answer this question once and for all with this blog post.
Copywriting is Key
As you’ll find out if you attend our Internet Marketing training, LeadGenerators differs from many other Online Marketing Agencies, as rather than employ SEO geeks, we opt for a team of copywriters who happily write away each and every day. The reason behind this? Well, anyone who knows anything about Online Marketing, knows that there are two audiences out there – the search engines of course, but also the potential customer. Read More

Not to state the obvious, but Microsoft’s Bing is a search engine. So in that case, wouldn’t you assume that workers of Microsoft would have some knowledge of internet marketing training, maybe even an inkling of how SEO works? Well one would certainly assume. Why is it then that Ciao is continually not shown in the search engine rankings? Workers of the Microsoft shopping site are convinced that their poor rankings on Google are not the result of their poor SEO but rather direct interference from the Search engine giant.

How Should I Optimise Images on My Blog?

Question:
I recently attended a few internet marketing seminars and discovered the importance of making my blog key phrase rich. However, I run an amateur photography blog and so my blog contains a number of photographs. My question is should I be using these images for optimization purposes and if so, how?

Working in an Online Marketing agency, it is constantly drummed into me how a one size fits all approach doesn’t work when you’re looking for online marketing solutions. Each client has to be analysed thoroughly before we can even begin to put in place the most basic strategy.
At LeadGenerators we use Twitter to provide online marketing solutions for a number of our clients. We tweet, we display pictures and we point our followers towards websites and other online content that may be of interest of them. However, I can safely say that we’ve never used Twitter to hypnotise our followers, although this would certainly be an extremely successful way to build up interest in a particular holiday destination or product!
Can We Use Analytics To Track Social Media?

Do We Really Need To Track Social Media?
With the rest of the office either away on their holidays or giving an internet marketing seminar in the nearest town, I’ve had virtually all morning to play around with Google analytics and see if I could get it tracking the social media accounts that we run through our client’s accounts.
However, with Facebook Insights and Bit.ly as the perfect tool for tracking the number of people that click on your Twitter links is there any need for setting up analytics to see the response that your social media campaigns are garnering? After all if no-one liked that picture you put up of your holiday cottage in the Dordogne then they wouldn’t have commented on it, right?
In a way you’re right – you can generally tell how well your Facebook account is doing by the amount of chat taking place on the walls – but that’s not looking at the bigger picture. The purpose of your Facebook page should not only be to build a community around your product, but it should also direct traffic to your main website and, in order to check that it is doing this effectively, you’ll need to set up tracking.
