Which is why we were quite intrigued to read an article that seems to be written along the same lines.
Cloaking Devices

Question:
I was talking to one of my technical bods the other day and he mentioned the practice of cloaking a website. I presume turning my website invisible wouldn’t help me any with my traffic or anything, but he seems to think it was a good idea, and they’re the ones running the show anyway, but I’m curious. What exactly is cloaking, and what good is it?
Thanks,
Paul, Lincoln

Just how far can internet optimisation techniques affect public awareness of a brand – or persona, as the case may be?
