Holiday Builder Steps

The booking process is started with a booking form. This booking form can be placed on any page in the website.

Further a number of flags can be added to the form so that the booking engine will be tailored to the content. For example on the Hotel ABC page the booking process will start with the Hotel ABC being pre-filled.

Flight Selection

The holiday builder shows a selection of inbound and outbound flights that fit the customer’s demands giving the customer to pick the flight dates and times they prefer. Flights can show extra supplements or discounts to encourage particular flights and inform the customer.

Hotel Details

The customer is asked to fill in if they have any hotel preference either by name, by rating or otherwise. Customer can also specify the number of people in each room they need.

Room Selection

The Holiday builder shows a list of hotels and the various rooms that are available. Single adult prices are shown to help customers can pick the room. Most Hotels only have one type of room but many have

If the Holiday Builder is integrated with our LG Highway customers can be seamlessly linked forwards and backwards to brochure pages for each hotel.

Supplements & Extras

There are a number of upgrades they can be included at this stage. Each option can be selected individually and added to the holiday.

• Room upgrades – eg. Sea View
• Board upgrades – eg. B&B to Half Board
• Hotel Upgrades – eg. Include Breakfast
• Car Hire – Customer can pick the car group and number of days hire
• Travel Insurance – Customer can select your travel insurance standard package

Confirm & Person details

Finally the full breakdown of the holiday is displayed with links for the customer to back and edit any stage. The customer is asked to fill in their details plus the pax details.
