The demo or example sites may give you a better understanding of how the customer sees the site. I have run though an example customer booking:
Search Box
The customer starts on a home page with a search form and a series of featured offers. The search form itself would include pax details, destination, dates and flexibility, airports and board basis.
Browse holidays
Using our LG Highway the customer will also be able to browse through the destinations, resorts and hotels you have on offer. Within each of these pages there would be another search forn and a featured offer specific to that resort or hotel. If the customer clicks on a featured offer they stop the search and go striaght into the individual offer detail.
Results
The results page shows a list of offers that match the search criteria. Results can be sorted or the criteria changed using easy to se options.
Holiday Page
Customers then go into each individual offer where the full set of details are shown. If you are also using LG Highway then hotel and resort information will also be shown.
Each offer has a unique reference code set by the client in the Teletext file. Customers are asked to phone quoting this numbre if they have any questions. If they don’t have any questions then they can go directly to booking.
Booking
At the booking stage the details of all the people travelling are captured as well as the full contact details of the customer booking the hotel. Finally the customer is sent to payments.
