Managing the packages and putting them into your website is very easy.
We have assumed that you already have Teletext HOD files.
Teletext HOD files are a standard format Excel file (.csv) that contains all the necessary information for a booking including price, pax, dates, flight times, hotel name and so on.
To upload a title log into your admin area, select ‘Holiday Finder’ and ‘Bulkload’. You will be asked to select the file from your local desktop. Press the upload button and it’s all done! Customers are ready to book.
If you are updating a existing package, as long as you have kept the same numbering system, when you upload a new offer the old one will automatically be deleted.
We do have a section for searching and editing offers online, but customers tell us this is rarely used and that they prefer to control all offers by uploading new files.
Dynamically Updated from Database
Holiday Finder updates dynamically from your database. How the database is updated depending on the volume of updates you are changing.
- Low volume clients can update the database live.
- High volume clients will require the CRON mgm tool, so that the database is constantly optimised for customers searching. Using CRON mgm the “from price” values are updated according to an agreed sschedule.
