The Holiday Finder is designed so that customers can find the whole package and then enter their booking details. Once the booking process has been completed we would send them to the online payment system of your choice.
Depending on the time and complexity of your chosen online payment system there may be an Integration charge.
Payment recommendation
Our recommendation for your choice of payment system is our LG Vault. The LG Vault is a secure server that takes the credit card details. Once this is done the client logs in to LG Vault, copies down the credit card details onto the office PDQ machine in the same way as with a telephone booking.
There are two main advantages of using the LG Vault in this way.
- No merchant bank to setup and no outgoing fees, transaction fees or online banking charges. The LG Vault costs £550 to setup and £160 per annum licence fee.
- As the system is not live you have more control over the booking process and margins. If you have an offer in the Holiday Finder that you have no updated and a customer books it in the LG Vault you have an option of doing any of the following:
- Absorbing the difference in your margin.
- Phoning the client and asking for the difference.
- Selling the client something very similar.
